At Edmonton Mayfield, our members share a simple commitment: service, fellowship, and impact.

Joining Rotary means becoming part of something bigger than yourself — a global network of people who care about their communities and the world.

The People

Rotary is about relationships. When you join, you connect with a community of local Edmontonians and global changemakers who inspire and support each other.

  • Connect across generations, professions, and cultures

The Service

We roll up our sleeves and take action — locally and internationally.

  • Support schools, youth programs, and families right here in Edmonton

  • Partner with international organizations to fight disease, support education, and promote peace

  • See the real-world impact of your contributions

Rotary is more than a club — it’s a worldwide movement with endless opportunities to grow and lead.

  • Fellowships: Join global groups of Rotarians who share your passions (travel, cycling, wine, music, and more).

Member Voices

Growing up on a small farm in northern Alberta, I learned early the value of helping neighbours—a principle that sparked my lifelong passion for community building. I carried that passion into my banking career, where every transfer to a new branch became a chance to connect with and serve a new community.

My path to Rotary began when I volunteered as a regional rep for our United Way campaign. After the campaign, our executive sponsor pulled me aside and encouraged me to consider Rotary. I met with her father, a charter member of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield, my club, and I joined.

When work took me to Fort McMurray, I transferred to the downtown club and a few years later, served as Club President. That same year, the devastating Horse River fire struck. As we evacuated, with flames visible at the roadside, calls started coming in—from across our District and beyond—offering help. By the next morning, my inbox was full of support from Rotarians across the world. That’s when I truly understood the power of the Rotary network.  It is my Rotary moment.

As a Rotarian, you are never alone. Rotary connects compassionate, service-minded people who show up when it matters most. I’m grateful for the journey, the people I’ve met, and the opportunity to make a difference—together.
