Lead with Seeds Fall Fundraiser-Save the Date

Lead with Seeds Fall Fundraiser  are hosting at the Blue Chair Café, 9624 76 Avenue, which is about 100 steps from their old venue at Biera. The Blue Chair Diner is a great place for food, wine and music, so we know you will enjoy it. Please come and bring your friends. 

Here is the info from Roman and Susan Slabyj:

We are opening the doors at 6:30 pm to allow for a great lineup of food and wine pairings. There will be a welcome wine available around 6:45, so try not to miss out by being late!  As a further suggestion, we recommend that you have a lighter supper before you arrive, as there will be at least five wine and appetizer pairings curated by the Blue Chair Diner and Bin 104.

We raised the ticket price to $60 due to higher costs, but we doubt you will be disappointed considering what's in store. As in the past, the ticket price covers our direct costs, so there is no tax receipt for tickets. Lead with Seeds benefits solely from donations given on top of the ticket price, and you do receive tax receipts for these. Donations are through the Canada Helps website; you can donate at the event, or alternatively before or after the event from the comfort of your phone. 

Aside from the changes mentioned, our fundraiser event will be much the same. There will be music, time to visit, great food and wine, a short program, silent auction, etc., so it should be fun as usual.

Please let us know if you can attend and how many tickets you need. We also need to know if you have any dietary restrictions; these will be forwarded to the Blue Chair verbatim, so please be as clear and specific as you need to be.

To donate prior to the event, go to the 'Canada Helps' website - be careful, Google defaults you to Canada Red Cross, which is not what we want. On the Canada Helps site, search for the charity 'Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Charitable Society', click on that link, look for a dialogue box below the 'Amount to donate' box that says "Apply your donation to a fund set up by this charity" and select 'Lead with Seeds' and then proceed.
