Last Meeting Summary
Last meeting we learned about RYLE, an annual conference hosted by the RYLE Committee and sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of District 5370. This experience is intended for high school students who would like to gain or strengthen their leadership skills and learn how to be active citizens striving to make a positive impact in the world. Our club might sponsor one or two students. We need to determine if there are any youth in our JP Interact club who would like to attend.

Upcoming Events

FoMD Global Health Fundraiser

On March 16th, the Global Health Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will host its annual fundraiser. The event supports funding for residents and faculty from international partner sites to receive further training at the University of Alberta, as well as the activities of the Medical Students Association (MSA) and the Students Invested in Health Association (SIHA). It also provides an opportunity for networking and socializing among learners, faculty, and those interested in Global Health. The evening includes a silent auction featuring student artwork and sports event tickets, with proceeds benefiting community development programs in Tanzania. The club would like to send 4 people to represent us at the dinner. If you would like to attend please email Maureen.
