Next Meeting

At our next meeting, we’ll welcome Ally Buck, ShelterBox Canada’s Rotary and Community Fundraising Coordinator.

Ally has worked with ShelterBox Canada for the past 3.5 years and is also a proud Rotarian with the Rotary Club of West Ottawa. She is actively involved in Rotary at both the club and district levels, with a particular passion for DEI, fundraising, and community engagement.

Ally will share more about ShelterBox’s work and the powerful partnership between Rotary and ShelterBox, helping communities affected by disasters and humanitarian crises.

FIO 2026 - We need your help

Our ticket count is now at 44, and with Fork It Over 2026 – Oktoberfest Edition getting closer, now is the time to act!

If you're planning to attend, please purchase your tickets soon. Early sales help us plan ahead and build the momentum we need for a successful fundraiser.

Volunteers Needed – Kicks for Kids

📍 Trinity Church, 13427 57 St NW

Kicks for Kids is back on August 21 & 22, and we need lots of helping hands!

This annual event provides new shoes to children in need, helping them start the school year with confidence. Volunteers are needed to help organize and distribute the donated shoes.

We're also accepting new children's shoes (all sizes up to youth size 12). If you're unable to volunteer, consider donating a pair to help a child in our community.

Get Involved: Join a Committee This Year

Looking for a meaningful way to get more involved this year? Serving on a club committee is a great way to volunteer your time, learn new skills, and contribute directly to the work that moves our club forward. Committees offer a chance to collaborate, share ideas, and shape the projects and initiatives that matter most to our community.

Whether you’re new to Rotary or a long-time member, your perspective and energy are valuable. If you’re interested in joining a committee or want to learn more about the options available, please reach out. We’d love to have you involved.

Members Anniversaries

We’re launching a new section on our social media channels to celebrate (and brag a little 😉) about the incredible members of our club and the unique stories behind their Rotary journeys.

We invite all members to share a Personal Expression Statement highlighting the impact Rotary has had on your life, and the difference you’ve made through Rotary. This is your chance to tell your story, your way, and inspire others along the way.

How can we tell our story?

If you are working on a project or event or if you want to share your Rotary journey with others, we want to hear about it. And if you attend an event, take pictures or videos and send them to Victoria. We will use these for social media and bulletin posts.

Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship.

We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at noon at the Chateau Nova Yellowhead (and by Zoom for those who cannot attend in person), and the second Saturday at 10am by Zoom.
