Santa YEG Fundraiser Update

We’re happy to share that we raised almost $10,000 for Santa YEG this year. With remaining funds from last year, we were able to contribute a total of $18,000 to support families in need this Christmas.

Thank you for your generosity. This impact is only possible because of you.

CNIS - Certificate of Notable Contribution

We’re happy to share some great news! CNIS has recognized Zaheer Lakhani for his dedication and contributions.

At their recent Annual General Meeting, CNIS presented Zaheer with a Certificate of Notable Contribution to thank him for his service and the positive impact of his work. They also shared a kind note expressing their appreciation for Zaheer’s commitment and for the difference he, along with our club, continues to make.

Integrity Awards: Call for Nominations

It’s time to start thinking about this year’s Integrity Awards. We’re beginning the brainstorming process and would love your input on individuals who demonstrate outstanding integrity and make a positive impact in our community.

Please bring your ideas and suggestions to our next meeting.

Get Involved: Join a Committee This Year

Looking for a meaningful way to get more involved this year? Serving on a club committee is a great way to volunteer your time, learn new skills, and contribute directly to the work that moves our club forward. Committees offer a chance to collaborate, share ideas, and shape the projects and initiatives that matter most to our community.

Whether you’re new to Rotary or a long-time member, your perspective and energy are valuable. If you’re interested in joining a committee or want to learn more about the options available, please reach out. We’d love to have you involved.

Share Your Rotary Story!

Every Rotarian has a story, whether you are just starting your journey or have decades of experiences that have shaped your service and leadership. Your moments of connection, challenge, and purpose are what make Rotary truly extraordinary.

We invite all members to craft a Personal Expression Statement celebrating the impact Rotary has had in your life and the difference you’ve made through Rotary.

Your Task (200 words or less):

  • If you’re new to Rotary, reflect on your inspiration—your “why.”

  • If you’re a seasoned member, reflect on your journey: your first sparks of interest, experiences that shaped your growth, challenges that became opportunities, and your contributions to local and global communities.

Use this link to submit your story.

Your story matters, and this is your chance to capture your Rotary journey and inspire others!

How can we tell our story?

If you are working on a project or event or if you want to share your Rotary journey with others, we want to hear about it. And if you attend an event, take pictures or videos and send them to Victoria. We will use these for social media and bulletin posts.
Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship.
We invite you to join us at an upcoming meeting.
