Last meeting recap

At our last meeting, Rose shared a brief recap of the many individuals and organizations we’ve connected with over the past two years through our bimonthly meetings. This reflection gave us a great opportunity to see, all in one place, the causes and communities our club cares about, and to start thinking about where there may be gaps or new voices we’d like to bring in.

We truly appreciate the time, care, and organization Rose brings to this role. Her efforts behind the scenes ensure our guest speakers feel welcomed, supported, and valued every time they join us.

If you have ideas for future speakers or organizations we should connect with, please reach out to Rose.

Save the Date: Fork It Over 2026 – Oktoberfest Edition

Fork It Over 2026 is officially set for October 17, 2026, at the River Cree, and it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable night. This year’s theme will be Oktoberfest, and we’re excited to welcome back Gery Shubert (aka Helmut Hammerhosen) as our entertainer and auctioneer.

Planning is already underway for this major fundraiser, and it will take many hands to make it a success. Volunteers are needed across all areas, from early planning to event execution.

Mark your calendar now. More details are coming soon.

Here are the meeting minutes from our initial meeting, if you'd like to learn more.

Get Involved: Join a Committee This Year

Looking for a meaningful way to get more involved this year? Serving on a club committee is a great way to volunteer your time, learn new skills, and contribute directly to the work that moves our club forward. Committees offer a chance to collaborate, share ideas, and shape the projects and initiatives that matter most to our community.

Whether you’re new to Rotary or a long-time member, your perspective and energy are valuable. If you’re interested in joining a committee or want to learn more about the options available, please reach out. We’d love to have you involved.

Share Your Rotary Story!

Every Rotarian has a story, whether you are just starting your journey or have decades of experiences that have shaped your service and leadership. Your moments of connection, challenge, and purpose are what make Rotary truly extraordinary.

We invite all members to craft a Personal Expression Statement celebrating the impact Rotary has had in your life and the difference you’ve made through Rotary.

Your Task (200 words or less):

  • If you’re new to Rotary, reflect on your inspiration—your “why.”

  • If you’re a seasoned member, reflect on your journey: your first sparks of interest, experiences that shaped your growth, challenges that became opportunities, and your contributions to local and global communities.

Use this link to submit your story.

Your story matters, and this is your chance to capture your Rotary journey and inspire others!

How can we tell our story?

If you are working on a project or event or if you want to share your Rotary journey with others, we want to hear about it. And if you attend an event, take pictures or videos and send them to Victoria. We will use these for social media and bulletin posts.
Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship.
We invite you to join us at an upcoming meeting.
