Friends of Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Networking Event
September 10th, we gathered at the Alberta Aviation Museum to mix and mingle and to share stories of some of the projects supported by this club. By all reports, this was an enjoyable and informative evening.

Lead With Seeds
Our speakers this week will be from Lead with Seeds, who will share the successes achieved by their team and will discuss their next steps. Last year we provided some funding for their operations and also to purchase computer equipment for their school programs. On behalf of the Lead With Seeds team, we had awarded Bruce and Janet Anderson with an Integrity Award in 2023. Please join us if you are able.
Youth Services
Jeremiah has stepped up to lead the youth services efforts in our club. To participate in youth programs, we need members to renew their Vulnerable Persons Certification which are processed by the police service in the area where you reside. If you need assistance, contact Lorne.
Reminder
Dues invoices were sent out in July and are now past due. A reminder statement was sent out today and you can click on the link in the statement to pay on-line. If you need more time, please message Maureen.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported me at the Step and Stride 2023 walk to support Parkinson's Association. In Edmonton there were over 400 walkers, some in wheelchairs, who raised $106,000.
How can we tell our story? The communications team is working on a plan but we need your help. If you are working on a project or event or if you want to share your Rotary journey with others, we want to hear about it. And if you attend an event, take pictures or videos and send to victoriaceli@gmail.com. We will use these for social media and bulletin posts.
