Our meeting December 7th was a social event. Fun and camaraderie was had by all in attendance. One item we discussed was the Integrity Awards for 2023. The following names were offered as potential nominees; Bruce and Janet Anderson from Lead with Seeds, Dr Deidre Duffy and Dr Lanice Jones from Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society, our own Arif Alibhai from Heal International, Jason Gregor from TSN Radio and Dr Jenn Brenner from Healthy Child Uganda. Give some though over the holidays on who you might want to support. This is a great opportunity to share some of our successes with the wider Rotary community.

 

Speaking of Jason Gregor, we were once again included in the Days of Giving fundraiser and received $5,700 towards our support for Brightview School. A big shout out and thank you to Jason.

 

Finally, Dec 7th was the last day for Sara Riahi who has served us well for the past few years. We will be seeking a replacement to cover our meetings and for our social media. Thank you Sara for your service.
