Last Meeting Recap
At our last meeting, we had the privilege of hearing from Lauren Paul and Twyla McGann from Terra Centre, an organization that empowers teen parents to build bright futures for themselves and their children.
Their work reminds us how much impact compassion and support can have in someone’s life. From providing resources and education to creating a sense of community, Terra helps young families thrive.

FIO 2.0 Thanksgiving Campaign
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, let’s turn gratitude into action.
While we aren’t hosting FIO this year, we’re proud to launch the FIO 2.0 Campaign, continuing our support for causes that matter deeply to our Rotary family:
Literacy, nutrition, and mental health programs at Brightview School
Buski-Lakhani Bursary for students serving in developing countries
Leads with Seeds forestry and education projects in Honduras
Medical training and supplies for East Africa
HEAL International initiatives for health, education, and leadership in Uganda
WINGS of Providence, helping families escaping abuse
And much more!
Your generosity fuels this work, creating change both locally and globally.
On September 27, Sinkunia Community Development Organization celebrated their Fall Harvest, a joyful event bringing together families, youth, and community members. A big thank-you to our IMPACT Club members who joined and supported this celebration! Your involvement continues to strengthen our connection with local partners and create meaningful impact in our community.

On September 25, our member Jeremiah attended the award ceremony at Jasper Place High School, where our Edmonton Mayfield Rotary Scholarship was awarded. A $1000 award was given to the winner, Grace Spenrath. We will share her application and more pictures soon.
WEF Project Update
The Worldwide Education Fund of The Dallas Foundation is proud to announce the successful completion of the pilot phase of 11 Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Learning Centers (ECLCs) in Chitral, a milestone that sets the stage for transformative change in early education across the region.
Encouraged by the success of the pilot and the enthusiastic community response, WEF is now preparing to launch 90 additional centers by May 2026.
This achievement is made possible through the generous support of sponsors, including our club.

Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship.
