We're thrilled to share an update about Lead with Seeds. On November 11, they hosted their annual Wine Tasting celebration, providing insights into their remarkable work in 2023 and outlining goals for 2024. These include continuing operations for their 2 schools and focusing on increasing enrollment for grade 7 students. Additionally, plans are underway for opening a 3rd school in collaboration with the municipality. Other goals involve expanding sewing programs, diversifying the forestry program with a variety of trees, exploring the feasibility of a commercial greenhouse, and enhancing the rainwater collection system. We take pride in supporting this organization that is positively changing the lives of many youth in Honduras.

 

On November 15th, we had the privilege of meeting Kornelia Eisfeld from Mercy Ships. She provided insights into the exceptional work they do, sharing heartfelt stories from both patients and volunteers. Mercy Ships hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities, and their volunteer crew, including doctors, nurses, medical staff, technicians, teachers, and physical therapists, is driven by mercy to contribute to making the world a better, healthier place for all.

 

 

In the last meeting, all club members present unanimously approved the motion to support Jeanette's nomination as District Governor for 2026. This collective endorsement reflects our confidence in Jeanette's leadership qualities and dedication.
