Next Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th.

We're thrilled to welcome Victoria Celi, who manages our social media channels. She’ll be sharing why a strong social media presence matters for Rotary and how it helps us connect with more people in our community.

Together, we’ll explore ways each of us can help increase awareness and engagement for our club. It’s a chance to learn simple, practical tips that make a big difference, and to see how our collective efforts can spread the word about the good work we do.

For those who cannot attend in person, the Zoom login for the meeting is Meeting ID 780 222 3440 Passcode Mayfield

Last Meeting Recap

At our last meeting, our Community Service Director, Rachel Poelzer, led us through an engaging group activity. We gathered in small groups of three or four to reflect on community service and share our experiences.

The conversations were guided by three questions:

  • What kind of volunteering have we done in the past?
  • Which club projects from previous years stand out the most?
  • What organizations are we currently supporting as individuals?

It was a wonderful way to spark ideas, celebrate the work we’ve done, and see how each of us is making an impact in our own way. These discussions will help shape how we continue serving our community together.

Follow Our Rotary Youth Exchange Students

The District 5370 Rotary Youth Exchange Committee is inviting us to follow their Instagram account, where they’ll be sharing stories and updates from our Youth Exchange students throughout their journeys abroad.

It’s a wonderful way to stay connected, cheer them on, and witness the life-changing experiences these students are having as part of the Rotary Youth Exchange program.

Follow along on Instagram.

Box Breathing for Calm & Focus

Box breathing is a simple yet powerful relaxation technique that helps bring your breath back to a steady rhythm after stress. It involves a cycle of breathing in, holding, breathing out, and holding again, like the four sides of a box.

This practice can help calm the mind, relax the body, and improve focus. It’s easy to do anywhere, anytime you need a reset.

Learn more about the technique and its benefits here.

How can we tell our story?
