This past weekend, Wayne attended the Heritage Festival, hosted by Sinkunia Community Development Organization. It was a fun and lively event, full of music, dance, tasty food, storytelling, and a Kids Corner—a wonderful reminder of the rich cultures that make up our community.
For some of our IMPACT members, this festival has an extra connection. The Sinkunia Community Garden, one of the projects tied to the event, began through the support of the YEG Passport Club—a club that has played an important part in many of our members’ Rotary journeys. We’re proud to carry that work forward through IMPACT, continuing to volunteer and stay involved in the garden.
We’re looking forward to joining the fall harvest in September.
