DESCRIPTION:Crystal Thompson Kootenay is a leader in the Indigenous communi
 ty in Edmonton area. She is a proud member of the Alexander First Nation\,
  a first-generation residential school survivor. She holds an Indigenous B
 achelor of Social Work and has 13 years of sobriety. She is a Program Mana
 ger for Native Counselling Services of Alberta where she focuses on Indige
 nous-led recovery-orientated initiatives. She has received the Prestigious
  King Charles 111 Coronation Medal and the Rotary Integrity award.  https
